Floral DesignDesigned to provide the students with all of the training needed for an entry level position as a floral designer.
The curriculum is frequently reviewed and updated by an advisory board of floral professionals to assure that current tools and products are being used and that the most up-to-date design styles and techniques as well as business methods are being taught. |
HorticultureStudents enrolled into this class will be working with live plants, clipping the
the foliage and twigs of trees, and shrubs a to develop and maintain clearly defined shapes. Using knowledge gained from past experience with Walt Disney World's horticulture department, students will gain a unique look at the magic at work. |
Plant ScienceThe world faces a tough challenge ahead to feed a world with less land than ever.
This plant science course will have students research what can be done to help fight this problem. With yearlong projects designed to feed local homeless shelters, Students will get a glimpse at the real life issues farmers face on a daily basis. |
